The Camp & Youth Assistant Director is a member of the East Valley JCC leadership and professional team. The position offers an unprecedented opportunity for an innovative, dynamic, charismatic leader to further develop a day camp and youth programming.
The Camp & Youth Assistant Director will continue and, with the camp team, will lead the quality program through the EVJCC pluralistic model.
The Camp & Youth Assistant Director will be energetic, innovative and fun!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with team to orchestrate, create and lead youth programs highlighting S.T.E.M., Jewish culture and fun!
Effective communication with parents and staff
Build relationships with campers and families
Coordinate and work with program vendors as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background and experience in Day Camp, Overnight Camp or related fields, preferred.
Experience supervising staff, program management and implementation
Passionate about youth and working with children
Ability to step into a variety of roles throughout the year
Sense of commitment to Jewish Values
Extra Bonus: Ability to play guitar and sing

COMPENSATION
This is an exempt position with a salary range of $35,000-$42,000 commensurate with experience. The East Valley JCC offers benefits to full time employees including health, vision, dental and short-term disability benefits which include employer contributions, paid vacation time, sick leave and more.
